Apple Mail Client with FirstClass

Setting up your Apple Mail Client
with GoodMedia’s FirstClass Mail Server.

The Summary:fc-icon

Incoming Mail Server = mail02.goodmedia.net on port 993
Outgoing Mail Server = mail02.goodmedia.net on port 587

The Detail:

In this example we are using screenshots from version 9.2 of the Apple Mail Application on OSX 10.11

Go; Mail Menu -> Preferences…

Choose to Add a new account, then choose the “Other Mail Account…” option;

Add your Credentials and Sign In;

The Server needs more information, so you will need to fill in the next form similar to this, and then click on the “Sign In” button;

If your Credentials were correct, you can then choose the apps you want to use with this account and click the “Done” button.

Your Account setup is complete.

You can then use the “Connection Doctor” to confirm / monitor your  connections:

Note that if Authentication using MD5 Challenge-Response does not work, scaling down to “Password” will often work instead.
